Taking a walk along any beach you are bound to find some interesting features.  While I was walking along the beach in Port Nepean near the Cattle Quarantine Jetty I came across all of this driftwood littered over the beach.  It looked like a forest of fallen trees.

The driftwood forest is right near the historical Cattle Quarantine Jetty that was used for unloading animals from the ships which would then be moved to the Quarantine Station that was dedicated to confining new stock arrivals until they had been declared free of disease.
